- The Application Fee for SSC CGL-2024 is ₹100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for SSC CGL-2024 exam.

Age Limit

- Requirement of age for various posts is as follows:

- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; (OR)
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.
- Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):
- Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution;
- Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.
- All other Posts:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

- Two years ago, SSC revised the selection process, and now only two-tier exams will be conducted to shortlist candidates for various Group B and C posts under the SSC CGL Notification 2024. SSC CGL 2024 Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:
- Stage 1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature).
- Stage 2 Tier-II: Paper-I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper-II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
- Two years ago, SSC revised the selection process, and now only two-tier exams will be conducted to shortlist candidates for various Group B and C posts under the SSC CGL Notification 2024. SSC CGL 2024 Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:
